The Bodies In Bloom Workshop
A curated workshop centering women and LGBTQ+ folk that normalizes the understanding of our bodies, as we bloom. Topics included safety in reproductive health, preventative care, pathways to parenthood, and the evolution of our hormonal health along our unique bodily journeys.
Bodies In Bloom LA is designed for sapphic women, female-identifying and masculine-presenting women, same-sex couples and marriages, and same-sex parents, and folks of trans experience, along with the advocates and providers who serve them. Powerful speakers will share expertise on affirming healthcare, reproductive and bodily autonomy, and family building, at a moment when access to care and clear information matters more than ever.
The event reflects The K. Stewart Foundation's mission to create safe, affirming pathways to parenthood, wellness, and economic stability for families, with intentional focus on Black and Brown families, LGBTQ+ families, and women-led and femme-led families. It advances the Foundation's S.A.F.E. framework of Safety, Access, Family Services, and Education, and continues a year-round commitment to a community the Foundation serves well beyond Pride season.
The Out + Excellent
Conference
The annual Out + Excellent Conference is The K. Stewart Foundation’s signature leadership, wellness, and community-building convening created for LGBTQ+ people and families—with an intentional focus on Black and Brown women, queer women, masculine-of-center people, parents, entrepreneurs, and emerging community leaders.
Out + Excellent creates the kind of space our community deserves. Through powerful conversations, practical workshops, wellness resources, and direct access to leaders and advocates, participants gain tools to strengthen their health, families, careers, businesses, and communities.
The conference brings together elected officials, nonprofit leaders, entrepreneurs, artists, healthcare professionals, advocates, and people with lived experience to address the issues shaping our lives. Programming explores leadership, economic stability, family building, community safety, wellness, civic power, entrepreneurship, and the experiences that are rooted in community.
More than an annual event, Out + Excellent is an investment in visibility, connection, and opportunity. It helps participants build relationships, discover resources, share solutions, and see themselves represented as leaders, parents, professionals, creators, and agents of change.
The K. Stewart Foundation is building something that has never fully existed before. Welcome home to a pathway, and a future for families who deserve more than survival.
